Stockport Academy wins School Website of the Year Award
Our website has officially been recognised as the best school website in Greater Manchester.
The accolade was given at the annual MEN School Awards, which was held at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester City Centre on Friday.
It is the third time we have been nominated in this category, with Mr McCarron being named Headteacher of the Year at the same event last year.
Marketing and Communications Officer Mr Prince, who manages the website, said: “We have had such an exciting year at Stockport Academy and every single event and achievement has been documented on our website.
“We are all over the moon at winning this prestigious award and couldn’t be prouder that the site has been judged to be the best in the region. It is a real honour.”
