Stockport Academy Jingle Bell Rockers Bring The House Down

Festivities reached fever pitch at our annual Stockport Academy Christmas Concert.

Students and staff alike were involved in putting on an amazing show that featured everything from traditional Christmas carols and readings to ukulele performances, ballet, tap dancing and steel pans.

The show finished with a performance of ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ - with everyone on their feet, getting fully into the festive spirit!

For the first time, we also hosted a Christmas matinee for three primary schools, with students from Bridge Hall, Adswood and St Matthews’ Primaries all enjoying themselves immensely!

Head of Performing Arts Mrs Campbell said: “I am so proud of all the students involved as they have worked so hard in such a short space of time to put together our best Christmas Concert yet!

“We have an exceptionally talented group of students with an amazing work ethic and they are a credit to both themselves and the academy. I would also like to thank all the families and friends who turned out in support last night – it was great to see our community coming together for a brilliantly festive evening!”
