Stockport Academy has well established links with local primary schools.  We collaborate regularly in different areas of the curriculum with local primaries and have students who come to us from many different primaries within Stockport and the South Manchester area.

We are passionate about providing the right transition from Primary to Secondary school and are keen to make the process as smooth as possible.  Transition does not start just in Year 6, we are working with some schools from reception upwards.  

If you have accepted the offer of a place for you child to start in Year 7 with us in September, please consider joining our private Transition Facebook Group, which is a closed forum for parents/carers to meet each other and find out more about the transition process.
