On 1st April our Charities' Committee Students visited the 'Socially Yours' Easter Lunch...
In addition to our normal fundraising for The Christie and EducAid our Charities' Committee also look at other ways of engaging with the lcoal community in a charitable way. We were delighted to be invited to visit the 'Socially Yours' Easter Lunch on 1st April held at the Farmers Arms on Stockport Road.
In the week leading up to the lunch form groups collected money to buy daffodils for the local residents and on the day students visited the lunch with the daffodils and played bingo - easter eggs were the prizes, once again donated by students and staff.
The afternoon was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
Socially Yours is a social group set up by Quality Care of Cheadle and meets every Tuesday afternoon at St Matthew's Church in Edgeley. For more information about the group please click here.
