Year 9 Students Win 1st Prize in National Competition

We are pleased to announce that Year 9 students Holly, Emily and Elisha have been awarded 1st Prize in the National Show Racism the Red Card School Competition 2014.

The students won 1st prize in the Year 7-9 Artwork category for their poster 'We're all the same inside'.  The students have been invited to attend the Awards Ceremony which takes place on 6th May at Manchester City FC's Etihad Stadium.

Show Racism the Red Card is the UK's anti-racism educational charity.  Established in January 1996 the charity uses the high-profile status of football and footballers to help tackle racism.  The charity delivers workshops within schools and its annual anti-racism themed artwork, creative writing and media Competition is open to Primary and Secondary schools within England, Scotland and Wales.
