Year 6 students from Adswood Primary thoroughly enjoyed a secondary Science taster session led by our Science team.
The group spent an hour here learning about the pH scale and conducting several practical experiments before finding out how to test for hydrogen.
Head of Science Mr Campbell then performed a range of live demonstrations including the crowd-pleasing ‘Many Liquids One Bottle’ presentation and the fiery ‘Methane Bubbles’ display.
Mr Campbell said: “By the looks of it our visitors from Adswood Primary thoroughly enjoyed their time here and learned a lot about what they can look forward to when studying Science at secondary school.
“They behaved exceptionally well and were very engaged throughout, asking lots of questions and really doing themselves and their school proud."
