Manchester United Foundation

We are delighted to have a partnership with Manchester United Foundation who will be supporting our students both within their curricular subjects as well as helping develop their interpersonal skills. As well as this, our School Partnership Officer, Mr McWilliam will be rewarding students with educational trips and opportunities with school.

Literacy Interventions

The MU Foundation will be supporting students with their reading and literacy skills. This will be in the form of interventions where students will get to read about Manchester United players and compete in fun reading challenges.

Specific students will be working with Mr McWilliam to develop their ‘Future Me’ skills that will support them not only in school but in later life.

Extra-Curricular Opportunities

As part of the partnership with the MU Foundation, students will be given the opportunity to attend clubs ran by MUF as well as be given the chance to go on trips and exchanges. The MUF will also be running holiday camps for students to attend free of charge.

Mr McWilliam will be supporting the transition of students from Y6-Y7. This may be in the form of transition events as well as providing support within the local primary schools.

Competitions, Rewards & Prizes

As part of the partnership with the MU Foundation we will be receiving donations such as MU training kit and equipment to give to students who are following the school ethos. Monthly competitions will also be available for ALL students to take part in!
