The show, based on the iconic musical Fame, follows the journey of a group of aspiring performers at SA's High School of Performing Arts as they navigate the highs and lows of chasing their dreams. With themes of ambition, friendship, and resilience, the story captivated audiences from start to finish.
Packed with energy and emotion, the production featured standout musical numbers such as “Hard Work”, “I Want to Make Magic”, and the unforgettable title song “Fame”, all brought to life by our talented cast and supported by a dedicated backstage crew.
Over two days, more than 500 primary school pupils were treated to special matinee performances, giving them a taste of the magic of live theatre. In addition, the cast and crew delivered three evening shows for family, friends, and members of our community, earning standing ovations and rave reviews.
Ms Lakin, Head of Performing Arts, praised the students’ commitment and professionalism, saying: “Everyone involved has worked incredibly hard to bring this production to life, and the standard has been exceptional. I couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve achieved.”
