Tesla Visit Leaves Students Charged Up For Engineering Careers!

We were visited by one of the most innovative companies in the world to support our students' aspirations to pursue a career in engineering.

Representatives from Tesla and Lex Autolease spent the day with us to deliver an enlightening session on sustainability and engineering careers. The event not only provided valuable insights into the automotive industry but also offered a glimpse into the future of sustainable transportation.

Students were thrilled as three top-of-the-range cars graced our site to add a bit of glamour to the day. The opportunity to see these marvels of engineering up close and even pose for photos with them was undoubtedly a highlight of the day. It sparked curiosity and excitement among students, igniting their passion for innovation and sustainability.

However, the event wasn't just about admiring sleek cars. A special workshop catered to students interested in STEM careers provided a deeper dive into the world of engineering. The highlight of the workshop was a captivating Q&A panel where students had the chance to interact with industry experts. From discussing the latest technological advancements to exploring career pathways, the session was both informative and inspiring.

Assistant Principal Mrs Milnes said: The visit left a lasting impression on our students, fueling their enthusiasm for sustainability and paving the way for future innovators in the field of engineering. Thank you to our friends at Lex Autolease and Tesla for making it all possible!"
