Stockport Academy is proud to launch a new programme of adult learning courses, delivered in partnership with Trafford and Stockport College Group.

Whether you want to learn a new skill, boost your wellbeing, or simply try something different, our courses are designed to be welcoming, practical, and accessible for everyone.

From September 2026, we will be expanding our adult learning offer with a wide range of courses, including:

• Flower arranging
• Digital skills
• AI awareness
• Wellbeing Through Art
• And much more

Our aim is to provide opportunities for adults in our community to gain new skills, improve wellbeing, and enjoy learning again.

Course fees

Many of our courses are free, depending on your circumstances.

You may be eligible for a free place if you:

• Receive certain benefits
• Have an annual income of less than £25,750
