Academy gives new students in 2014 a helping hand ...
Like everyone, we at Stockport Academy recognise the financial challenges facing many families in the current times.
As your children move from Year 6 in primary school to Year 7 in secondary school the cost of buying new uniform can be a worry and we are keen to ease this burden for all families choosing to join our Academy. Our Chair of Governors has agreed therefore that Stockport Academy will offer parents a voucher that they can hand in at our uniform suppliers. The voucher will fund a blazer, two jumpers, a tie, PE top, PE skirt/shorts, and PE tracksuit. We have made this agreement with our suppliers for the next 2 years. Details on how this will work will be communicated to you on the New Parents' Intake Evening in June 2014.
