Stockport Academy elves build Santa’s sleigh in time for nursery party

Stockport Academy’s annual nursery party hit full swing this week, with our Health and Social studies students pulling out all the stops.

Santa’s elves worked both nights and weekends to get the centrepiece of the event finished in time – a beautiful full-size red sleigh. Pupils from Adswood Primary were invited to climb aboard with Father Christmas himself to receive an early present.

There were plenty of other attractions to keep our guests busy, including a Frozen bouncy castle and the Stockport Academy Minion! Our Health and Social Studies students also organised a range of activities to keep them entertained from pin the nose on Rudolph to arts and crafts.

Vice Principal and H&S teacher Mrs McCann said: “We love welcoming the nursery pupils for their Christmas party at Stockport Academy and this year’s was definitely extra special.

“I would like to take the opportunity once more to thank staff and students from both St Matthews and Adswood for supporting our Health and Social studies curriculum  and would like to wish all involved a very merry Christmas.”
