We were again delighted to host our annual Year 5 Maths Challenge day on Friday 4th July...
Students from Alexandra Park Primary School started the day with a team challenge working together to develop strategies and communication skills. Following this they then worked in small teams solving a range of challenges to build up their team points. After a quick break the students worked by themselves as code breakers to solve the clues to crack the code on the padlock for the treasure chest.
The winner received a 'Little Professor' game which was inside the locked chest.
The winners of the problem solving task each won a Rubik's Cube.
Everyone had a fun day.
Thank you to our Maths Department for organising such a superb day for our local primary children.
