A Curious Incident

Students bring in the new term with a trip to a breathtaking production at the Lowry Theatre.

This January, a group of Y9, Y10 and Y11 students saw in the new school term by watching a breathtaking production of 'The Curious Incident of The Dog in the Nighttime' at The Lowry Theatre, Salford.  Prior to the show, the students were taken for a meal at Pizza Express and enjoyed the 'Aeolian Light' art installation which was fun to experience (and to take plenty of photos!). The play was an opportunity for our students to explore how a story can be adapted through inventive and captivating stagecraft whilst affording our students a theatre experience they will never forget.

Recently, our English enrichments have seen our students visit Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and experience the ground breaking West End production of 'War Horse'; who know what fantastic shows we will go and see next...
