Stockport Academy’s Police Cadet group put in a performance to be proud of during a recent competition on the Isle of Man.
The team attended the Ellan Vannin Fuels Challenge between 18th and 20th September and were set against 15 other sides in a variety of outdoor pursuits such as mountain biking, conquering a climbing wall and assault course and rocket making.
Mrs Fox, who helps to run the Police Cadet group, said: “Our team won the raft challenge as they were the only group to finish! The weekend was incredibly fun and a great team-building experience.”
Before boarding the ferry for home, the cadets also had the opportunity to try sea-kayaking and coasteering.
Out of the 16 teams, Stockport Academy came 6th – so a very well done to everyone involved.
