Stockport Academy Prom bids farewell to Y11s

Stockport Academy's Y11s descended on the Village Hotel Cheadle on Friday (July 10th) for their Prom.
Over 80 students arrived in a variety of vehicles from limousines to touring caravans and looked fantastic in an array of glamorous outfits.
Prom King and Queen were voted for by the attending staff and Taylor Fahy and Megan Beazley were presented with their winning sash by Mr McCarron.
Students danced the night away until carriages departed at midnight.
The evening proved to be a memorable one and it seemed as though nobody wanted it to end, with Hannah Pickering tweeting of the event: “Prom was so good, I loved it and want to do it all over again.”
Y11 Pastoral Manager Mr Cheetham said: "Prom night should be a night that stays with you for the rest of your life and it was fantastic to see off our Y11s in style. That said, it won't be long before we're seeing many of them again when they rejoin our Sixth Form in September!"
